Link to a file/website
1) Open the course to which you would like to add the forum and click the Turn editing on
button
2) Go to the topic where the file/website is to be located, open the “Add a resource” drop
down box and click on “Link to a file or web site”
3) Fill the form
i) Enter the “Name”.
ii) If you want to link to a webpage, in the location field copy the link of web page.
iii) If you want to link to a file, click the Choose or upload a file button. A new
window will open.
iv) Upload the file being linked to (in case it has not been uploaded).
iii) Tick the check box on the left of the file and, click the Choose button on the right.
The file name should now appear in the Location box.
iv) Click the Save changes button at the bottom of the screen.
