To provide a solution to these problems, NETSUS application was developed. This application is used by Ford Regular employees and Temporary employees to enter their exception time records and updating employee enrollment details. It is referred as "U.S. Salaried Timekeeping system" and used only in U.S. This system is maintained in Niehl mainframe which is present in Germany. It processes the time records entered by the employees through NETSUS online screens. These details will be transmitted from U.S. Dearborn to the Niehl mainframe machine for processing. After processing completion from Niehl, payroll link records will be transmitted to the Payroll Department in U.S. Dearborn. This system is used by more than 50,000 users.
