This site holds a contest in various events like sports and entertainment. News updates about different teams are available on the site and updated on regular basis. Architecture: 1. This site was a three-tier architecture both on the front-end and back-end. The admin UI is used by the Administrator to update the site’s data. The back-end is a user-friendly Intranet application used by the user to update the information. The front-end is used for displaying information and also keeps track of the customer’s (users) profile. 2. The Y2K, compliance Intranet application was for internal use of Cablevision employees to access data collected by the Y2K group about various products and services. This site presents useful information for the users about the product and systems used. Various search criteria are available to drill down to a particular product for the compliance information. Role/Achievements: Played a key role in developing the server side components for accessing the data in the three tier architecture and thin client solution using pure dynamic HTML pages generated by Servlet running in Java Web Server and accessing data from the database using JDBC.
