  • In the main strategic development documents of the Bulgaria Government, that p rovide a description of our major development policy objectives, defined according to the general provisions of the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the Cohesion Fund , ICT are one of the main preconditions for achieving the renewed Lisbon Strategy goals for stronger growth and creating more jobs. ICT are determined as very important for the country’s basic infrastructure improvement and for enhancing Bulgarian economy competitiveness. The State policy was adopted by the Coordination Council on IS at the Council of Ministers. It draws out the objectives and priorities of our IS development by 2010. These priorities will have to bind concrete projects, which are described at the National Program for the same period of time. Our vision is this program to focus the efforts of all concerned parties to a more dynamic development of the IS in the country.
