  2. 2. • To connect with like-minds• To bring out the greatness in each of us, as youths• To bridge the gap between the sender and the receiver of information, which increases the communication level.• To understand the effectiveness of acquiring the best resources for communication.
  3. 3.  SUMMIT: Is a meeting or conference of top- level officials, executives e.t.c. Therefore, I believe we have all come here to meet with experts to discuss the means of communication through the use of MEDIA resources.
  4. 4.  MEDIA: Is the means or channels of general communication, information or entertainment that is used to reach or influence people widely. Such channels are radio, television, newspaper, magazi ne, blogs, social networks e.t.c.
  5. 5.  Quote: “Regardless of the changes in technology, the market for well- crafted messages will always have an audience” – Steve Burnet.
  6. 6.  RESOURCE: Is a source of supply, support or aid that can be readily drawn from, when needed.
  7. 7.  JUST CONNECT: Connection (i.e. CONNECT) is a link, bond, connecting part, bridge that brings/joins two or more things together. However, there is no connection with a medium (i.e. MEDIA)

Without the media, there is no communication. Media portrays a picture of the government to the people and vice versa.
