  12. 12. UNIMI/VESPA and its region• Lombardy agri-food system is the largest in Italy and also one of the most significant in Europe.• The value of the agrifood system, is estimated at € 37.5 billion, about 16% of the national value and 11.5% of the regional gross domestic product (GDP).

  15. 15. OBIETTIVI (1/2)• valorizzazione delle produzioni lattiero-casearie dell’area transfrontaliera italo-svizzera attraverso la caratterizzazione ed il rilancio delle produzioni esistenti. La valorizzazione di tali produzioni, connotate da una forte territorialità e legate all’ambiente pedo-climatico alpino, è fondamentale non solo per l’economia delle realtà produttive locali ma anche per la salvaguardia dei pascoli e il mantenimento dei varchi verdi.

Obiettivi (2/2)• Il rinnovo delle produzione casearie tipiche, inserite in filiere corte, attraverso un patto d’area, rappresenterà un fattore essenziale di rilancio nell’ottica non solo che della sostenibilità di queste produzioni, ma anche per l’associazione con altri comparti come quelli turistici, enogastronomici e di benessere.
