Many companies in this survey see utilizing a Professional Part Time Worker as a way to bring senior expertise while reducing cost and a way to reduce the amount of turnover in their organization.

76% of the organizations in our survey feel that they have talents needs, but they are not in the position to hire a full time worker.
Also, in 56% of the organizations, there are critical initiatives that are being neglected due to a lack of resources.
A Professional Part Time Worker might help with both of these problems by reducing the cost to the organization and fulfilling those needs.

Over 70% of the organizations do not have an identifiable Work-Life Balance Initiative.
However, some of these companies have said that they have Work-Life Balance, just not a formal initiative.

While over half of the companies cited IT as one of the areas where a Professional Part Time Worker might be conducive, there were many other areas where these individuals might be beneficial.
Behind IT were Sales and Marketing and Media/Communication.

This was followed by defining a program that would work for their organization and finding qualified professionals to work part time.
