Creating a Circle online allows the company to reach out to a number of businesses of all levels in the Piedmont Triad and beyond.   2. 2. The effort is sponsored through the American Express Open Forum program and Mightybell.com. It allows business owners and entrepreneurs the opportunity to use technology to collaborate, find volunteers, funding, and marketing avenues that would not otherwise be available. Antoine Smith COO exclaimed that “the Technology Center Of The Piedmont Triad is honored to invest resources and participate in the American Express Neighborhood Circle Concept. We remain committed to the investment of human, financial and intellectual capital into the local business community as it is ultimately an investment in ourselves.”
  3. 3. National Small Business Saturday is November 30, 2013 and encourages the community to shop local. To further this concept starting in January the Technology Center of the Piedmont Triad will host monthly Small Business Saturday Classes as well as Student Saturdays to foster additional ideas, talks, and workshops for the youth.
