    • Functions of the Reproductive System Male – to produce sperm and deliver it to female reproductive system. Female – produces eggs and provides a place for an embryo to develop.
    • Externally Visible Reproductive Organs Penis – male organ that delivers semen to the female reproductive system. Vagina – female organ that receives sperm from the male, also provides a path for baby from uterus to outside world.
