  • 2. Newton’s First Law What is Newton’s 1st law?? • Objects in motion stay in motion • Objects at rest stay at rest
  • 3. Force is equal to an object’s mass times its acceleration maf  Newton’s Second Law m = 1000 kg a = 0.05 f = ??? f = 50 N
  • 4. Newton’s Third Law All forces exist in pairs (pair = 2) For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction THERE CANNOT BE ONE FORCE
