  • 1. Digestive System Projects CompetitionFour groups in each class. Two groups willdo project 1, and two groups will doproject 2. If you are doing project 1,you will be competing with the othergroup doing project 1. If you are doingproject 2, you will be competing withthe other group doing project 2. I willpick two winners. Winners will get an“A” on the project, second place willprobably get a “B” or less. Worth 50points!Project 1: Make a model of the entiredigestive system, including accessoryorgans. You can use any material youwant: cloth, plastic, wood, etc, butmake it look like the digestive system.Put your project on a poster board orfuture board, and label the organsand list their functions.ExampleProject
  • 2. Project 2: Make a modelshowing the INSIDE ofthe small intestine. Youwill of course have tofocus on showing thevilli. You can use anymaterial you would like:clay, paper, tape, paintetc. I suggest a boxproject covered on thetop with a THIN pieceof paper that will letthe light in.Project 2 IdeaProject due dates:8/1 – Wednesday June 12th, 1st period8/2 – Tuesday June 11th, 1st period8/3 – Tuesday June 11th, 3rd period8/4 - Monday June 10th, 3rd period
