    1. Nobel Prize Winners of the1930’s By: Leaundra brown Mrs mkillip p.3
    2. Peace Prize  On September 6th 1860 Jane addams was born  She attended the Rockford Female Seminary for college, She was a valedictorian  After having a heart attack she was admitted to Baltimore hospital on December 10th 1931; that was the same day she got her Nobel prize.  She was awarded the Nobel prize for leading the woman's international league for peace and freedom.
    3. Literature  Sinclair Lewis won the Nobel prize For his graphic art of description. Also for his ability to create, with humour, new types of characters  In 1902 he went to Oberlin college in Ohio and graduated with a balchelers degree  He won his Nobel prize in 1930
    4. Physics  In 1936 a man named Carl D. Anderson won a Nobel prize.  He won the nobel prize for his work on discovering the positron.  He discovered the positron in 1932
    5. Chemistry  A man named Harold C. Urey won a nobel prize in 1934.  He discovered heavy hydrogen  The nobel prize wasn’t the only prize he won, he has also won the Willard Gibbs Medal in 1934 and the Davy Medal in 194o.
