And that is exactly what he did!Constructed? Guilford cathedral was built between the years of 1931-1961. In 1961the Cathedral was consecrated in 1961 and has been in use ever since,it has been in use for 47 years.

The new synagogue waslarge and elegant and was built on the previous ones ruins.Material used to constructThe synagogue was entirely constructed of basalt.Interior- inside and outThe exterior walls were carefully built of square, well-trimmed stones,while the interior walls were of a lower quality construction.

Interesting factIn the 6th century, the synagogue was paved with colored mosaics, of whichtoday are still preserved!The End of the Katzrin SynagogueThe Katzrin synagogue was in use even after the Muslim conquest; it wassadly destroyed during the earthquake in 749, which also destroyed most ofthe village. A small mosque was built in the northern part of the synagogue ,but it was in use for only a short time. The village was then abandoned andcovered by debris until its discovery.
