      • Make it personal – refer to questionnaire
      • Let them know if you will need them to purchase any supplies
      • Logistics

      • Appearance of your person and your studio
      • Create a comfortable environment
      • Empower the student and parent
      • Learn and experience with them
      • Recognize learning styles and multiple intelligences – “custom made” lessons
      • Be accessible
    4. Learning Styles
      • There are 3 basic styles or modalities
        • Visual

        • Kinesthetic
    5. Multiple Intelligences
      • There are 8 elements of multiple intelligences
        • Linguistic/Language
        • Logical/Mathematical

    6. Follow Up and Maintaining Relationships
      • Make lessons, communication, etc easy for your students and parents
