  • 18. When Can I Expect My First Student?
    • Statistically speaking, between 2-8 weeks, depending on:
      • Demand in metro area
      • Saturation of non-TakeLessons teachers
      • Different needs for different students
    • Unpredictable – keep in mind that we are supplemental
    • Fluctuates – time of year
    • We’re always marketing for you!

      • Confusion with lesson times

  • 21. Getting Paid
    • Direct deposit
      • 7 th and the 22 nd each month
    • $49 Yearly Certification Fee
    • The way to get paid is to mark your lessons
  • 22. Marking Lessons
    • Mark or reschedule lessons within 72 hours
    • After 72 hours, unmarked lessons are subject to forfeit
    Complete, Missed, or Reschedule
  • 23. Marking Lessons
    • Complete
      • Lesson has happened as scheduled
      • Lesson journal
        • Track student progress and encourage
        • Emailed to the student/parent
          • Helps keep parents in the loop
  • 24. Marking Lessons
    • Missed
      • Student canceled with less than 24 hours noticed
      • Sends notification to student – they cannot make it up
      • Paid same amount for missed as taught lesson
      • If you would rather reschedule, go for it!
        • We will always support you if you choose to mark as missed
  • 25. Marking Lessons
    • Reschedule
      • Click the clock to reschedule
        • “ This lesson only” or “all future lessons”
        • If it has been over 72 hours and you do not know when you can reschedule, unschedule the lesson to turn it into a flex lesson
          • Schedule all unscheduled lessons before the month is up, or contact us to extend the expiration date if needed
      • Contact us to reschedule into the next month
