  • My name is Tait Lifto and I’m a professional recruiter from Kaye/Bassman heading up a national division of our Healthcare IT practice. I am a process driven, Project Manager that drives qualified resources in a short time period with supporting documents and client requirements with a team and technological tools supporting these efforts.
  • We opened our doors in 1981. We’re the Largest Single Site Search Firm in the US. Won Multiple awards and rankings from the Dallas Business Journal to Texas Monthly Magazine to…
  • What makes this company my home and a great place to work are the people and how we approach our business. Our people align to areas of interest from their own lives and select a path of specialty . Think of the recruiting world compared to our doctors – while your family doctor handles most general cases, if you need open heart surgery, you will see a specialist. A specialist that has studied his or her craft and become an expert in that area. Each person here specializes in a particular niche which is aligned by Function, Industry, Level, and/or Location. Specialization and time in a niche provides insight – real insight – into the practical, every day lives of real people doing the job at your competitors right now. It’s real tangible data that assists in identifying potential movement of personnel, and to reaffirm or even realign your own practices to ensure competitiveness which leads to talent retention which in turn leads to reduced cost .
  • Specialization – by function, that includes EMR/EHR with the buzz words of “Meaningful Use”, ARRA (the Recovery Act), CPOE, ICD10. Level – we pinpoint certain levels of Healthcare IT for hospital systems in CIOs, IT directors and managers. On the EMR implementation side, we’re targeting Analysts and Project Managers, implementation, go-lives and related support tasks. Location – our teams are aligned in geography as well to match needs from major metropolitan areas to rural areas across the nation
  • A customized approach – your needs at one facility will differ from another while still supporting the overall organization goals. We customize our approach to your organization at large, and incorporate our teams as we drill down to specifics to align in those areas we collectively identify. What do you want? (Skills, Qualifications, Background). What does your company overall and the individual facility offer? Why should someone want to pick you? How do you want us to represent your opportunity to the marketplace? And, what does the talent acquisition process look like?
  • That becomes our functional script to bring talent to your attention through presenting qualified candidates, setting up appropriate interviews, gathering feedback and moving through decision points, building and extending offers and transitioning talent to your facility then keeping that investment in-house (if necesssary)
  • While I can’t predict the future, past successes are an indicator of future results. We have a published track record
  • But most importantly, we fill jobs . It’s what we do.
  • Talent is more than just our past, it’s also the fact that all of our team trains each week to continue honing our skills
  • Tait Lifto developed and continues to fine tune processes for Go-Live/Activation supports which require a lot of people to be engaged in a short period of time for a specific time period and deliver in exceeding customer expectations.
  • The process Tait developed are extensive from an analytical point of view and from a technological stance.
  • Here’s just a quick example list of items that could apply on any Go Live/Activation support project
  • Examples of what some of the documents on our end and candidate facing could look like.
  • But most importantly, we fill jobs . It’s what we do.
  • Simple for the consultant – one stop place to reach our entire Go Live / Activation support team with dedicated email and FAX resources accessible 24/7 on the Internet and on mobile phones.

  • 10. Track Record – Go-Live/Activation Support Capabilities - Talent Existing since 1981 gives KBIC a distinct advantage of a lengthy history of candidates, with a robust database (built for the recruiting industry) behind us to enable us to accurately track these candidates over years, not just days, and build relationships which lead to additional referrals and brand recognition. This, in turn, leads to a much larger pool of people to draw from which greatly exceeds the static “Internet Job Posting” that captures a snap-shot in time of looking candidates.
  • 11. Track Record – Go-Live/Activation Support Capabilities - Process Experience builds knowledge. Our people have been around the block. That includes Dan Wilburn , the leader of the national MEDITECH practice with over 12 years experience just in that niche. Larry Strayhorn , MBA with a 20 year background in Healthcare Informatics including large Hospital System Implementations like one of Cerner’s original Beta Sites. Tait Lifto , national leader who was chief support for McKesson for a multi-state hospital system account while at a top-10 Healthcare Consulting company. Experience in the actual market brings knowledge that provides unmatched capabilities and superior results.
  • 12. Track Record – Go-Live/Activation Support Capabilities – Process (cont’d) We funnel candidates through our process to move large volume into checkpoints that require our expert interaction first so our full capabilities are focused on the most likely candidates to screen, then drive our proprietary process to track all pieces of information required for your contract with automated steps to communicate effectively with our consultants so they are on the same page with you the day they arrive. (Example documents on the next page)

  • 15. Track Record – Go-Live/Activation Support Capabilities - Management Our team manages the consultants to whatever degree determined for each engagement from a more hands-off approach to fully engaged on every aspect of the project. We can hand off candidates at a bare-minimum up to fully documenting and tracking all items necessary from a form/agreement standpoint to skill assessments to background checks to scheduling resources on the engagement.
  • 16. Track Record – Go-Live/Activation Support Capabilities - Results We deliver results that exceed expectations. As an example: when engaged on one recent go-live, we were asked to provide 20 resources and that 3 other groups would provide the rest of the 85 total resources. Our team submitted 83 qualified candidates in the first week, and we filled 40 slots on the project in 2 weeks and had the largest single-source group on the entire project.
