    • KISTI’s Approaches Brief History of KISTI’s DOI Service The first DOI assignment was performed as a sponsoring Dec. 2007 member representing scholarly societies in Korea. KoreaScience was opened to be a DOI response page for Korean Jan. 2008 S&T journals. March, 2008 The first deposition of DOI XML was successfully performed. Cited-by-linking sign-up & Multiple resolution services were June, 2009 started. 42 S&T journals from 30 academic societies are applied to be DOI Dec. 2009 journals. May 2010 Sign-up of CrossCheck, a plagiarism screening system 92 S&T journals from 68 academic societies are applied to be DOI Dec. 2010 journals. 11
