  2. 2. The Program Facts:• Created in 2007• Four districts contribute equally into the program• Covers approximately 5,000 sq. miles• Includes estimated enrollment of 9,040 in 12 school districts• Provides opportunities for residents of all ages to learn the importance of water conservation
  3. 3. Why a coop program?• Multiple rural groups targeted• Similar aquifer conditions• Cooperation among GCDs establishes strong unified message to maximize effectiveness• Each district maintains individual projects and programs to target their needs
