He did not brief Slides 3-5 ... they are essentially his touchstones to define crossroads where he feels senior enlisted leadership energy and emphasis can best contribute to CNO Sailing Directions and the tenets of Warfighting, Operating Forward and Being Ready. The list of six fundamental areas is not intended to be all-inclusive.

With respect to the three tasks on Slide 2, we are developing the list of programs for Task 1 and will be providing it SEPCOR for your consideration and response. Please complete Tasks 2 & 3 NLT 12 October. To ensure appropriate levels of leadership see input, please:



- Send responses through your respective FORCM or FLTCM (who will consolidate and send to me);

- Direct Reports, send to me;

MCPON FOCUS AREAS• LEADERSHIP TRAINING (ENHANCE READINESS THROUGH A CONTINUUM OF LEADERSHIP TRAINING) • Command Delivered Petty Officer Leadership Training • Senior Enlisted Academy (Developing Dept LCPOs) • CMC/COB Course • CPO 365 • Fleet CPO Training• MASTERING THE BASICS • Good order and discipline • Technical competency (Accession Training, A & C Schools, Fleet “over the shoulder” training) • Foundation Programs (SAPR, Suicide Prevention, Drug & Alcohol Abuse Prevention, EO, Command Leadership Training, CIMS)
