    • 2 What is Clean Cities? Clean Cities advances the nation's economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting local actions to reduce petroleum consumption in transportation. A national network of nearly 100 Clean Cities coalitions bring together stakeholders in the public and private sectors to deploy alternative and renewable fuels, idle-reduction measures, fuel economy improvements, and emerging transportation technologies.
    • 3 • Support East Tennessee fleets • Direct fleet & fuel supplier meetings • Promote alternative fuels and transportation • Work to build public access to alternative fuels • Engage public through open meetings, events, workshops, newsletters, publications • Education: adult & K-12 • Look for partnership opportunities What Does ETCleanFuels Do?
    • 4 • Eco Travel Plaza in Crossville, TN • Goal: Cleaner, healthier place for truckers • Providing 50 electrified spaces for trucks • Reducing emissions by 70-99% • Solar Arrays  Roof-top  35 kW system  Will offset much of the TSE electricity use Truck Stop Electrification
    • 5 The EV Project in Tennessee
    • 6 I-75 Green Corridor Project • Add public access E85 & B20 at 200 mile intervals • Enable driving all the way from MI to FL on biofuels • Will be the longest biofuels corridor in U.S. at 1,786 miles • Displace 1.7+ MGY of petroleum
    • 7 Currently… • Very strong interest in gaseous fuels in our region
    • 8 Propane & Natural Gas • Morgan County School System using buses fueled by both natural gas and propane autogas
    • 9 Propane & Natural Gas • Multiple applications • Attractive ROIs
