  • First I will begin by introducing myself and my company and then we will get down and dirty with websites.
  • My name is Jason Culbertson and I am the owner of The Culbertson Organization, LLC. I have been a web designer since 2000. I volunteer in the local community as well giving my time as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami County as well as being a big brother. We also donate our time to the Miami County Historical and Genealogy Museum to help preserve the history of Miami County. Our company has been in the business of small business services since January of 2000. When I conceived the idea for this company I was surrounded by small business owners who were struggling to make ends meet and had great expertise in the field they were in but no expertise on how to successfully run a business. Our slogan is “No matter which direction you or your business is headed, we can help make it successful.”
  • We are a home business, based in Paola Kansas, however we are a nationwide wide business with current and previous customers in Minnesota, Colorado, California, Florida and of course here in the Kansas City area. We are proud to offer services such as Custom Built Websites, Brand Management, Logo Creation, Graphic Design, SEO, Business Coaching and so much more..
  • We cater to the entrepreneurs in the first phases of their new ventures up to small businesses with an average of 25 or fewer employees. When beginning our business we researched and found that according to the US Small Business Administration that “Roughly 50% of all small businesses fail within the first five years.” In our opinion that is from the lack of resources, affordable service providers and the knowledge to keep them moving in the right direction, towards success.
  • In this section we will discuss the Functionality and Benefits of having a properly built website.
  • The first question I always get asked when I approach someone about their web presence is, “What do I do with a website?” of course the second question is “how much is it going to cost me?” But we will answer that one much later. Business presence is obviously the number one reason for having a website but there is a certain way to do it. That is why I am here today to give you some insight into how to properly create a website.
  • Marketing & Advertising is one of the most important features of your website. This is the part of your website that speaks to the masses. Marketing is the foundation of your website.
  • Brand management on your site just like all of our your other promotional material is very important. Companies should start recognizing your brand so that they know when it is truly something that has to do with your company.
  • Your website can give you credibility if designed and constructed properly. Credibility on the web can establish Your website is your potential clients 24/7/365 company information source. They can read up and research your company and what you have to offer before and after your regular business hours. Think of your website as a salesperson working around the clock.
