  • 1. The Seeing Child, The Moving Wind The wind blows on my windowpane Calling, crying out to me Come, come with me to far away lands Where there are many things to do. Afraid. Scared. That is what I feel. Why? I cry out to the wind on my pane. Why me? I can do nothing for you. I am but child born with no movement You move trees, houses, and leaves, I can just move my eyes, eyes that see all and miss nothing. I want you, you are very special, replies the wind. You see things and think things of beauty. I with me, you can move and you feel and know my every movement. In the morning hours, you now see the beauty of the wind, The wind that carried the see-all child to freedom.
  • 2. Guide Me ‘What is this I feel, Deep in my chest? It warms up my soul, While leaving my body in chills. What is this light That warms up my heart? It fills me with strength But leaves me powerless. What should I do With this light I feel? What should I do With this feeling of mine? Should I run? Should I fight? Should I embrace it? Should I accept its light? For now, just for now, Ithink I’ll let it be And let the mysterious light... Guide me.
  • 3. GoOn How will I bear the pain? How will I endure the slights? How can I ignore the obvious? What can I do to make you see? What can I do to ease the pain? What do I do when I feel alone? How will I survive without all of you? How can I go on living my life? How do I endure the torture? By staying at your side, By drying your tears, By calming your fears, By making your life better, To make my life better. This is how I will go on.
  • 4. Why? Why do men have to be so rational? Why do they have to be so kind? Why do they always have to be protective? Why are they so afraid to tell us how they feel? Why are we so afraid to tell then how we feel? Why do we have care so much about them? Why do we have to be the ones who survive? Why do we have to be protected from everything? Why can’t we trust each other? Why can’t we say what we really mean? Why do we hide behind false feelings? Why does everything between us have to be complicated? If we just said what we meant, If we were able to be ourselves, If we were able to trust each other completely, Then this life would be too easy. So that is why we all have problems, Problems that must be faced and conquered, To achieve the fulfillment we all need.
  • 5. WINGS OF TRUST A WHISPER IN MY EAR, A GENTLE VOICE CARESSES MY SENSES. A WARM ESSENCE FLOWS AROUND ME, SOFTLY, SLOWLY FILLING MY SOUL WITH CONFIDENCE STANDING AT THE EDGE, AFRAID TO TAKE THE LEAP. SCARED, FRIGHTENED, NERVOUS, I BACK AWAY FROM DIVE. THE VOICE CALLS OUT TO ME, “DON’T BE AFRAID. I’LL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU.” LOVING, TRUSTING, AND SUPPORTING ME CALMING ALL OF MY FEARS. I RETURN TO THE EDGE WITH ARMS FLUNG WIDE, TRUSTING AND BELIEVING IN MY OWN STRENGTH. I TAKE A DEEP BREATH, AND JUMP AND I FLY FOREVER WITH THE WINGS OF TRUST WE BUILT WITH LOVE.
