    Foursquare has 3 basic components at the user end.
    Check-in: Announce the presence in a particular place or venue,
    Badges: Users can earn different badges by checking-into different places and also by following brand pages.
    Points: A variety of points depending upon the user’s check-ins.

    Foursquare is really a game at the user end…
    Check-in: Explore the excitement of being in a place you like, admire or even a place of your dreams.
    Badges: Earn the badges that others can’t.
    Points: Beat your friends on points and ranks.
    Rank: Compete with your friends on a weekly basis.

    Yes. Foursquare is safe provided you follow the norms laid by foursquare.
    Read the Privacy Policy and Privacy 101 stated by foursquare on its sites (at bottom) before you use it.

    Foursquare is available in almost all the mobile phones that supports GRPS,
    Register an account first (with your email id),
    Don’t forget to put a profile picture,
    For iPhone, BlackBerry and Androids one can easily download the apps,
  • 9. The ease of using foursquare

    Look for the bar with Me, History, Badges, Stats and Friends.
    Me – Everything about you (your check-ins history, mayorship/s, tips, friends, following, to do lists etc.)
    History – All your check-ins datewise, timewise with all the shout-outs,
    Badges – All the badges you have earned so far,
    Stats – Your stats showing no. of days checked-in, no. of check-ins, averages, distribution by day etc.
    Friends – Your friends check-ins and the following check-ins as well.

    Notification – All the notifications would pop-up with a counter under the notification tab on top clicking on which would show the notifications time-wise,
    Settings – Under this tab you can always change the way you want to receive the notifications on your mail or mobile, the way you sync your twitter & Facebook and other setting like name, location, third party apps etc.

    Well, you don’t have an iPhone! Don’t worry!
    To start with you can register on your internet connected PC or MAC.
    Now, open the web browser on whatever the mobile you have and simply type and you are the GAME…
