  • 1. Women in Asia Sydney Hendricks Childrens Book PBA
  • 2. Mongol women were very powerful andstrong!
  • 3. They were moms.
  • 4. They helped with the animals.
  • 5. They sometimes worked in the “Khuriltai.” This was the Mongol’s government.
  • 6. Some of them were strong warriors!
  • 7. Even though the women could do all ofthis, men still had more power than them.
  • 8. Mongol women were treated much betterthan other women in Asia.
  • 9. The women in China were not so lucky.
  • 10. They had to be obedient totheir husbands.
  • 11. They had to complete allof the domestic duties ofthe house, like cookingand cleaning.
  • 12. The Chinese menreally liked tiny feet.They made thewomen bind theirfeet, which is wherethey wrap them upsuper tight.
  • 13. Because their feet were bound, theChinese women usually did not leavetheir house.
  • 14. They did not get rights untilmodern times.
  • 15. The roles of women is Asia was differentfrom region to region, but the Mongolian women were treated much better than the Chinese women.
