They Lived in the Northern Territories,
Labrador and Quebec in Canada, Alaska and in
Where they lived…..
The Inuit lived in Igloos and Tents.
Since the Inuit lived in the cold they wore lots
of Coats and Mittens made from local animals
like Polar bears and Seals.
Again the cold weather brought raw meat from
Seals, Polar bears, and Walruses.
The Inuit boys had tasks like Hunting with
Elders and Chop fire wood.
The Girls cooked with their mothers and did
other cleaning jobs.
Mothers prepared food, worked on skins and
Fathers hunted, built houses, and fished.
Jobs and Chores…..
The children played games like Kneel jump,
Back push, and Alaskan high kick.
The Inuit believed in Animism which is were
all objects and living things have a spirit but
they also believed in Christianity.
Worships and Beleifs…..
The Ulu, Which was a curved edged knife
used for cutting frozen meat.
The Harpoon, A rope connected to a spear
used for precise hunting.
Bow and Arrow, Also used for precise hunting
Girls ran the household
They lived for over 1,000 years
Boys and Girls had tattoos
