"Scientific approach" or “How to import SVG into Adobe Photoshop?”

 1. 1.
 2. 2. Experiment!
Hi everyone! Our today's experiment will be dedicated to crossing. As a result, we will obtain new form, which will be more suited for surviving in cruel world of design. Here we go…
3. 3. Our first participant today is one of the most impressive representatives ofgenus “editors”, species “raster”. Please, welcome: Adobe Photoshop. It has impressive genealogy and earned everybody's confidence…
4. 4. Our second participant today is representative of genus “graphics” species “vector”. Please, welcome: Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). One of most fast evolving and promising inhabitants of “WWW.” area.
5. 5. Since our school days we all now, that crossing is very difficult task, but we'll do our best.
6. 6. ...But let's first say few words about the importance of “scientific approach”. Of course, there were attempts of enthusiast to achieve the goal without necessary equipment (by means of converting SVG to different formats, then importing, then adjusting result images in Photoshop)…
7. 7. ...but predators, like “time consumers” and “nerves destroyers” left those approaches little chances.
8. 8. So...we need a catalyst plug-in, extracted from hours of hard work. Please welcome: “SVG Kit for Adobe Creative Suite”. The missing piece of the puzzle.
9. 9. The result:
Now, let’s take a look at the derived form. First of all, it can now import and convert SVG to PSD image on the fly, without any allergy. Now we can apply all Photoshop features to it.
10. 10. Wow, look, how it spread its layers. That's because it also automatically split image into layers, depending on original SVG elements. No manual splitting. Play with every layer separately.
11. 11. The habitat
New form was first met within http://svg.scand.com region, so you may search for the used catalyst there.
12. 12. Our experiment was absolutely successful. We are leaving you now and…
P.S. During the experiment no one was harmed and no reanimation by means of reinstall or adjustment needed.
Thank you for your attention!
