Does your small business need an iPad?
The way we work has changed, forever.

Our customers can now access our information using the interactivity and visual splendour of the iPad (and other tablet devices). We can interact with customers in new ways.

Additionally, what we can create and publish is now expanded. Our options to advertise, share information and present our businesses on the web is heightened by this new device.

The Apps Store presents all new opportunities for all businesses of all sizes.

What are the opportunities for your business?

iPad - The Impact and Opportunities for Small Business is sponsored by Optus and features three experts who will share the power of this device for your small business and give practical examples.

"The new Apple iPad is a curious device. While many small business owners are sceptical about its use in a business context and are still trying to understand why they need yet another piece of technology, others are evangelical about its benefits."
- Sydney Morning Herald

Join us on 17 August 2010 for iPad - The Impact and Opportunities for Small Business, an exclusive 90-minute webinar, sponsored by Optus Business, where we'll explore how the iPad will change the way small business works.

    17. 20. Take-up of devices are big. Media are promoting content consumption via it. But what is the relevance for businesses?
    18. 21. Why and Why Not?
    19. 22. Some believe iPad is consumer / entertainment focused. “ In my opinion, the iPad is more suited for entertainment purposes rather than business use. iPads have identical functionality to the iPhone, but they are bulkier, and also an extra device to carry around. The iPad also can't make phone calls like the iPhone... the only advantage the iPad has over the iPhone for business use is that it has a larger screen and larger keyboard, which makes emailing easier. Other than that, the iPad is more suitable to be used as an eBook reader, for internet browsing and for photo and video viewing.” Alex Lee, director of web design and technology business Bean IT
    20. 23. Others have a different point of view. "Anywhere you could use a clipboard, they're looking to replace it with iPads” But that it should be used to add value: “ Some companies, especially the larger ones, are doing it because their competitors are, but the smart ones are doing it to deliver real value for their customers and make things better for their staff” Alex Lee, director of web design and technology business Bean IT
