  • 25.  Ad hoc hourly rate (no VAT payable) The consulting and execution rate is R750,00 per hour for a senior consultant, R550,00 perhour per account executive, and R350,00 per hour for a junior consultant / researcher. Senior consultants Suza Adam and Lani Botha oversee and are the primary team members toservice an account client: responsible for interfacing with the client, funders, key opinionleaders, journalists, writing and editing and feedback to your organisation. Costs for third party disbursements are cleared with the client beforehand and are for theclient’s account (e.g. postage, design, printing, etc.). There is a 15% disbursement fee on thirdparty costs. Travel and accommodation outside Gauteng is for the client’s account. There is a10% per year escalation fee in meeting rising inflation costs. Retainer basis (no VAT payable) Spindle charges the following rates for work conducted on a retainer basis. Clients commit toa 12 month or longer agreement. Costs for third party disbursements are cleared with theclient beforehand and are for the client’s account (e.g.advertising, postage, design, printing, etc.). There is a 15% mark-up on third party costs. Traveland accommodation outside Gauteng is for the client’s account. There is a 10% per yearescalation fee in meeting rising inflation costs.
