  • Now, this chart represents something I talked about a few minutes ago. (pause)Notice how all the arrows point from somewhere else into your site. And they not only link to your home page, they link to key sub-pages on your site that have specific content on them. (pause) This is real important, because Google wants to deliver a user right to the content they’re searching for. And the more traffic you’re driving to your sub-pages, the more Google values the entire site. (pause) What’s funny is that everyone seems to think that the user experience has to start with the home page. They think “everything is about the home page.” Well, the most important thing is that there’s good, relevant content on every landing page. And we take it a step further, by ensuring there are items like a Request a Quote on that landing page, a phone number, maybe an informational e-book they can download…so that we can capture a user’s interest right then and there…and more importantly capture their name, number, and email address. Make sense?
