  • It’s amazing how many business owners come to us ready to jump on the Facebook wagon, but without a vision or clarity of voice for their local business and Facebook page. It’s true that building a Facebook page is a surefire way to boost leads and grow your business, but only if you make the page work for you. And the only way to make it work for you to really target the audience you want is to get clear on your local business ‘voice’ and brand image.
  • Get clear on 1 to 2 goals that are important to you, and don’t try to conquer the world. As a local business owner, are you trying to create brand exposure, become expert, boost sales, land more leads, and so on? Be selective and prioritize. The more laser focused you are, the easier it will be to meet your goals.
  • It’s important that your voice always support your vision and mission, so write it down and refer to it often to make sure you’re always in alignment.
  • Are you targeting leads, peers, experts, etc.? By identifying your target audience, you can then build your voice to support that audience.
  • It’s important to build content that will grab the target audience you’ve identified. That content will largely represent your voice, and needs to also represent your vision and mission, which all goes hand in hand.
  • Now let’s take action!Write down your answers to the following questions:What are your business goals for your Facebook page? What is your company vision and mission?Who is your target audience? What topics and content are relevant and important to that target audience?Next, Build Your Facebook Page with this information in mind.Refer to your company vision and mission on a regular basis and make sure your Facebook page continues to support them
