Its purpose is promoting Korean culture and history in America and promoting American Culture and history in Korea. Why KACE Club is needed. 1. To learn to respect other country’s culture 2. To broaden student’s knowledge on Korea 3. To appreciate American culture/Korean Culture more 4. To have fun!

Activities related to ICI/Mariestory Proofreading!!!! – important importantWe will do a lot this year because this shows that we didwork for ICI and we can get a card that is issued fromKorean Government that we volunteered to inform Koreawhich is just huge.Also, we can apply for grants but we have to have a proofthat we worked. (One from Mariestory, one from History school from Multiculture) – It is mandatory. At least 2 articles every other week.The more you do, the more chance that we can get grants and send students to Korea.Also, it is truly cultural exchange because they talk about Korea in English and we are helping them by proofreading while getting educated.

SENDING STUDENTS TO KOREATo do this, we absolutely have to show evidence that we did make cultural exchange.It is going to be only selected few who have played active roles in KACEICI said that they are willing to fund up to 1000 dollars for our members.The details about the camp and program will be discussed later. ex)global exchange camp ex)Cultural youth camp - 청소년 문화단 캠프We will be applying to Korean Governmental organization as well such as 보건복지부, 관광역사부, and 재외교포재단.
