These programs areeasy to build just fill out the templates add narration , graphics, colors, and fun tools with the web. You can now customize slideshows with colors and can save them to files, websites, discs and word documents.
Original HIPAA in 1996 brought medicine and dentistry to new privacy standards for sharing of patient information and releasing patient records. Doctor patient confidentiality has always been a concern for health care providers, now Federal Government is protecting patient information.
Two changes in new HIPAA both protect patients confidentiality and safety. New HIPAA in 2003 added more controls on access to one's records and controls sharing of patient information controls. Patients have more open access to their medical or dental record and can request correction of errors...patients must be informed of how their personal information will be used. HIPAA 2005 "defines three segments of security safeguards for compliance; administrative, physical, and technical." (Pozgar, 2007, p. 273)
As technology improves and evolves, so will the challenges for humans and health care administrators to adapt to them. In order to use all tools effectively together, me must know the limitations and susceptible areas before they become problematic. Proper implementation of procedural handling of private information, safeguards, firewalls and monitoring should ensure privacy and information safety.
The future of electronic medical record standardization and patient privacy is upon health care as an industry. Regulations will steer compliance and aid in the modernization of medical records. HIPAA is as huge pioneer in patient safety and compliance with privacy is a must. Privacy and safeguards to protect patient information is a key element towards furthering compliance in the industry and -compliance is grounds for termination and remuneration will be sought by the facility. Compliance and discretion should be understood amongst all hospital employees.
