  2. 2. Linked in is a professional social media site geared toward engaging with business connections. Linked In Groups are a way to network and share information with others in your industry.
  3. 3. On the top of the Linked in menu, there is a section called “Groups”. Groups Directory is where you can search for groups to join.
  4. 4. You can search in the Group Directory using key words for your industry. You can select on the left to have the options narrowed by groups that your connections are already in, this will help you further engage with your existing network.
  5. 5. “Groups you may like” will give you recommendations of groups to join based on key words from your account and popularity of the group amongst other connections. Recommendations for me include social media topics!
  6. 6. If there is not a group out there that covers the topic you are interested in, you can make your own!
