    • STUDIO LINEB E I N G C O S T E F F E C T I V EContinued concerns over the global financial crisis remain to the forefront of most businessconsiderations. In a climate where businesses must be particularly strategic in terms of theirspend, the office environment is one area which could be overlooked easily in terms of newinvestment. Ironically the management of your office environment effectively is perhaps evenmore critical in the current climate. In this context the following points should be considered:CONFIDENCEConfidence becomes an issue when companies are downsizing and scaling operationsto weather the current climate. Confidence is an issue for employees and for both existingand new customers. Conveying this confidence in terms of the work environment is no lessessential today.S PA C E O P T I M I S AT I O N : W h a t i s t h e q u a l i t y o f t h a t e x i s t i n g s p a c e ?Making effective and efficient use of physical resources when budgets are tight is prudentplanning at any time. In todays climate it should be considered essential. A downsizeddepartment should perhaps have a pro rata scaling back of its physical environment.COSTSWith operating and associated environment costs on the increase, space savings and relatedenergy savings are an additional way to improve the bottom line.CONFIDENCE REVISITEDConversely the goal of space and energy savings is the very thing that can upset the delicatebalance of confidence as outlined earlier. Therefore any movement in this direction mustresult in an effective and efficient working environment, an enhanced environment that isaesthetically pleasing to staff and clients alike and that has had the benefit of good functionalplanning and modern interior design.COST EFFECTIVEWhile in many cases there is an investment cost in implementation we can assist you in planningthe most effective way of achieving sustainable long term savings. At StudioLine we are positioned to service these needs in a cost effective way that willassist you in maximising your ongoing Office Environment Facility and its needs.
