  • 4. Texts and Paradigms <ul><li>When someone makes a text, an advert or leaflet or magazine cover, they design it according to the conventions of that text e.g layout conventions, image conventions. </li></ul><ul><li>Paradigm of Images for magazine cover </li></ul>

Genre and Conventions <ul><li>Each of those conventions has a set (or paradigm) of possibilities which are suitable for that genre or type of text. </li></ul>Which one of these images would not be suitable for a woman’s magazine cover? Why? So these two images would not be a paradigm for magazine covers
