Stormwater Community Assistance Program (SWCAP) <ul><li>Assists a community in meeting the Stormwater Phase II Permit </li></ul><ul><li>Minimum Control Measures 1 and 2: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>1. Public education & outreach, and </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>2. Public participation & involvement </li></ul></ul>
  6. 11. Stormwater Community Assistance Program (SWCAP) also known as “Stormwater Matters” <ul><li>Will continue to assist a community in meeting the Education and Participation Requirements of the Renewed Stormwater Phase II Permit </li></ul>
  7. 12. <ul><li>Stormwater Phase II Permit Renewal Draft: </li></ul><ul><li>Public education and involvement continues to be required </li></ul><ul><li>Requirements are more specific </li></ul><ul><li>2 messages to each of 4 audiences: residential, business/commercial, developers/construction sites/industries </li></ul><ul><li>Focus on specific pollutants of concern </li></ul><ul><li>Requires measuring message success </li></ul>
