Book tasting Book tasting Document Transcript

    • Name: ______________________________Book Tasting!Get ready to devour some tasty treats and new books! The purpose of this activity is to give you theopportunity to step outside of the types of books you would normally be attracted to and find some gemsthat you just might fall in love with. The key is keeping an open mind and really giving each book a chance. The Method 1. While you sample the candy furthest to the right of the line, begin by reading a synopsis (if the book has one) and diving into reading the book itself. (7 minutes) 2. Fill out this sheet (one entry per book) (3 minutes) This is to help you recall whether you might want to come back to certain books to read them in entirety or if you would rather never see it again. 3. When the timer rings, you will rotate to the right for a new treat and book.Have fun!
