      • Timing : Crisis as opportunity

      • Regulatory and policy environment
      • ( FAO, ILO, WHO, and Regional and national )
      • Existing regulations – safety, labelling, documentation
      • New regulations eg GHS
      • Organisational evolution and excellence
      • in companies : distributed knowledge,
      • staying competitive
      • global and local brands
      • in industries :
      • eg by systems to share knowledge across all companies

      • On targets: “what gets measured gets done” - only

      • is helping the search for local , bottom up
      • Social responsibility now has to be more visible – reported

      • The world is less polarised than the manifesto suggests
