  • 2. 09/01/09 April 2005 – Momentum Group first meets 28th April 2006 – deadline for first bid to the Digital Challenge 19th Feb 2007 – fonal presentation of Bristol's bid at Barbican (Stephen, Dick, Barbara and Makala) 13th March 2007 - Digital Challenge Winner announced at QE11 Conference Centre, London May 2007 – Change of council control (Barbara and Lib Dems ousted by Labour / Conservative pact) 1st September 2007 – DC10 national Director appointed (Stephen Dodson) 14th Feb 2008 – new Knowle West Media Centre building completed June 2008 – Pervasive media studio opens its doors 2nd September 2008 – DC10plus network formally launched at the Brewery in London Feb 2009 – Barbara returns as council Leadership 29th July 2009 – Martha Lane Fox chooses to visit Bristol first in her role as Digital Inclusion Champion September 2009 - BCC directly funds Connecting Bristol for the first time October 2009 – Bristol Anchor Partnership launched Silver Threads
