  • 3. What is Twitter?
    • According to their site, Twitter is “a real-time information network powered by people all around the world that lets you share and discover what’s happening now.”
    • This information is found through messages or sentences composed of 140 characters or less, or a sentence roughly the length of this one.
    • Twitter allows these messages or tweets to be public and searchable.
  • 4. Why use Twitter?
    • Twitter is a great way for businesses to:
    • -share their experiences and promote various activities and services within the business.
    • -engage in discussions about their products and/or services.
    • -have success in the areas of customer service, and gauging feedback on recent events or product launches.

  • 6. How do you use Twitter?
    • The first step in using Twitter is creating an account. This process is easy and can be found here .
    • After signing up for a Twitter account, it is very important to fill out your profile completely so that other people will know more about you.
    • A company logo is preferable for a picture if the account is meant to come from the company. If the account is for the business owner then use a more approachable picture of yourself.
    Its as easy as 1,2,3.

    • It then becomes important for you to follow relevant accounts.
    • These accounts typically are accounts that have the same goals and services as your business.

    • Trending Topics are the most discussed terms on Twitter at the moment.
