About Startup Product Summit
Discover How To Work Together To Develop Amazing Products
Startups are inspired by existing, successful companies to understand how to structure their team and culture, yet even these companies are grappling with understanding what product means in a new order of thinking. Product as we knew it is blurring, but we haven't yet nailed down the right words to describe its evolution. At startups, defined product roles often don't appear until later, but a product is there from inception. We welcome everyone who touches product at their company, or is interested in a product role, to join us.

Startup Product Summit Will Be Held At The 600 Townsend Building In The SOMA Neighborhood Of San
Francisco
San Francisco - Startup Product Summit will be held on February 7, 2013 at the 600 Townsend Building in
the SOMA neighborhood of San Francisco, at 7th and Townsend Street, next door to Zynga and across the
street from Adobe offices.
The conference space at 600 Townsend, despite holding several hundred people, is decidedly intimate. The
room will be arranged in a half-circle to affirm our belief that everyone, whether speaker or attendee, has
something to contribute. There is little physical separation between speaker and audience, because we
believe that our speakers are here to forward and participate in a conversation, not preach truisms.
"Our goal is to bring together everyone who touches product at a company to talk frankly about what
product is and our shared role in making them a success. We're structuring this conference in a format that
reflects our belief that attendees' experiences are just as important as the speakers'," shares Nadia Eghbert,
Summit co-producer. "Over the course of the day, we hope to see patterns emerge in our common
understanding of product."
