Davis </li></ul><ul><li>Started school in Los Angeles County, CA in the early 80’s, Graduated HS in Boulder, CO in the mid 90’s </li></ul><ul><li>Graduated Naval Hospital Corpsman School in the late 90’s </li></ul><ul><li>Graduated from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA elementary education </li></ul><ul><li>Presently attending UH for grad degree in Educational Technology </li></ul>

    6. 6. <ul><li>Everyone had a desktop computer at home. </li></ul><ul><li>Laptops were cumbersome and few had them </li></ul><ul><li>Received lectures with PowerPoint projected on a screen </li></ul>
    7. 7. <ul><li>Laptop carts </li></ul><ul><li>Computer lab </li></ul><ul><li>Portable SmartBoards with a digital projector </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>They were large and took up a lot of classroom space </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><li>Document projector </li></ul><ul><li>Online streaming of videos </li></ul><ul><li>2 desktops in the classroom </li></ul>
    8. 8. <ul><li>My elementary school opened its first computer lab in the 4 th grade, we used floppy disks </li></ul><ul><li>My Father developed software for IBM and he taught the students and teachers how to use them </li></ul>
    9. 9. <ul><li>Skype- to interview professionals, meet students from other countries, and take virtual field trips. </li></ul>
    10. 10. <ul><li>Tablets for each student that interacts with a central teacher’s tablet providing immediate feedback and re-teaching opportunity </li></ul>
