  • 2. Igneous Rocks
    • Igneous rock is rock that was once melted and than cooled and hardened. Rocks that have been changed by heat or pressure.
  • 3. Sedimentary Rocks
    • Sedimentary Rocks are made when materials settle into layers and get squeezed until they harden into rock.
  • 4. Metamorphic Rock
    • Metamorphic Rock is rock that has been changed by temperature and pressure.
  • 5. How Rocks are Formed
    • Rocks are formed by three different ways:
    • Melted rock can reach earth’s surface through a volcano.
    • Water and wind can break rocks into bits.
    • Pressure and temperature causes rocks to form.
