Squiz CMS - Introduction • Squiz CMS is the 4th Generation CMS from Squiz CMS is the 4 Generation CMS from Squiz • Designed to be most user friendly CMS • Has a true inline editing interface • Includes an automatic update feature

Squiz CMS Editing Interface Editing Toolbar The Toolbar is divided into 5 different sections: 1. New 2. Mode Switcher 3. Status 4. Tools 5. Save

Squiz CMS Editing Interface Mode Switcher By default the Mode Switcher shows 3 options: By default the Mode Switcher shows 3 options: • Preview • Edit • Settings Although there are 6 option in all there others being: • Administration • System Configuration • Versioning The extra options appear once the mode switcher is expanded

Squiz CMS Editing Interface Contextual Support Desk Squiz CMS also has an inbuilt Support Desk • Th S The Support Desk is also contextual like the Help Desk tD ki l t t l lik th H l D k • The Support Desks shows all of the Issues reported • Issues that have not yet been assigned y g • Issues that have been Fixed but not released • Issues that have Fixed and Installed • Issues that are reported are Issues that are reported are Assigned to one of the Developers at Squiz Labs. Once fixed the will be then scheduled to be released be then scheduled to be released in the next Upgrade. • Squiz CMS automatically looks for the latest release and Upgrades itself.

Squiz CMS Editing Interface WYSIWYG Editor • To Edit a page as soon as it has been created click the Edit Button on p g the Wizard Complete screen • To Edit a page that already exists in the site, either: • N i t t th Navigate to the page using the menu (whilst in Preview mode ) i th ( hil t i P i d ) • Navigate to the page using the Asset Finder • Once on the Page you wish to edit Click the Edit Button in the Mode Switcher • To start editing the Page contents just click.
