      • Number of active users doubles every 6 months
      • More than 52,000 applications currently available on Facebook Platform
      • More than half of users are outside of college
      • Fastest growing demographic is 30 yrs. and older
      • Average user has 120 friends; their personal network
    • On An International Level…
      • More than 660,000 developers and entrepreneurs from more than 180 countries
      • More than 35 translations available on the site, with more than 60 in development
      • More than 3 billion minutes are spent on Facebook each day (worldwide)
      • More than 70% of Facebook users are outside the United States
    • Benefits of Using
      • As already stated, the amount of people using Facebook is already staggering, and increasing every day!
      • Potential clients can use Facebook as a passive tool to learn more about law firms without taking concrete action to contact the firm
        • Allows users to connect with the firm without feeling obligated to commit
    • Three Different Options
      • In order to target consumers companies can either:
        • Create a Facebook account
          • Allows for a company history, complete description of services, space to upload media, and allows CGM
        • Utilize Facebook Lexicon
          • Counts the number of times one term occurs, allows company to observe behavior and plan accordingly
        • Purchase advertising space on Facebook
          • The name of your company will appear
