      • Cold calling is kryptonite. I absolutely hate cold calling people. It is the most awkward situation!
      • Let’s be honest, in order to become a reliable resourceful connector, there has to be a ‘Face to Face’ connection to build trust.

    • What’s your pleasure? Lots of choices! We are in a very different age of connectivity with the rapid growth of digital tools available everyday. We have taken the global technological village and shrunk it literally into digital communities!

    • Become a thought leader! Create your worth (Currency) online choosing the right community and engaging in conversation! We all know the saying “everyone will have their 15 minutes of fame” through Social Media “everyone has the ability to be famous to 15 people! Find your worth! Your currency!

      • Reach out to those who have already become leaders
      • Find your angle and deliver meaningful posts
      • Cross your thoughts on multiple platforms (Focus Your Hub)
      • Direct posts to specific people you have connected with
      • Don’t just repost or Retweet (RT) – Make a twist
      • Always stay ahead of the game
    • You are ready to engage! Don’t get stuck behind your desk, or glued to your couch with your laptop on your knees! Make the connection, introduce yourself, engage and book that meeting! HOW?
    • How can I make a meeting? As an event designer and marketing guy, I take these tools and apply them with one question in mind -  How can I use these tools to create live interaction?

      • When making a connection with someone, associate a common interest. It's almost like dating! The ice needs breaking! (Music, events, photography, news)

      • Make the call and keep the same persona you had online. Let your personality shine through!

    • NOTE *BBM is not face to face! Don’t lose the ‘Face to Face’ connection! BMM, Ping!, MSN, AIM and iChat are fast becoming social trends that don’t help the relationship grow! What not to do! Trust me!

Meetup.com & Eventbrite are sites you can join to find out where your like minded connectors are meeting 4. Start your own networking events to compliment your companies brand. 5.
