———————————————————————————————————————

I’m doing the FOCUS 2010 Bike4Life Winter season Obstacle (schedule below) in the Atlas
Mountains in Morocco. As a condition of my involvement, I had to raise 00 in sponsorship, and
having actually now broken that quantity, I thoroughly wish to pulverize that mark and I wish I
could depend on the fine folks of DMU to be some of my sponsors.

I’ll be cycling 168 miles over rough landscapes in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco over a
course of 7 days for Focus Humanitarian Help (FOCUS, Official Site), an intercontinental group

                                                                                           1/4
of companies established in Europe, North America and South Asia to complement the
arrangement of emergency relief, principally in the establishing world. It helps individuals in
need lower their dependancy on humanitarian aid and facilitates their switch to sustainable
self-reliant, lasting development. To me, FOCUS’s objective is essentially the same as the
proverb “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Instruct a guy just how to fish and you
feed him for life.”

I think it’s especially important to say that any contribution, huge or small will definitely make a
distinction. Of course, all contributions are tax deductible and 97 % of all online contributions
and 100 % of all check donations will go directly to support FOCUS’s work. I will be covering all
travel, accommodations, and meals expenses myself (about 00) so rest ensured your
contributions won’t be utilized to fund a winter months getaway to Africa. In addition, all
contributions that you make will be matched 1-to-1 by one of my sponsors (up to 00).

I will continue you take contributions with the brand-new year till my return to the United States
on January Fourth.

———————————————————————————————————————
