3. FACTORY INTRODUCTION
• GSK Chittagong is a secondary manufacturing
site.
• It was built in 1967 on 17 acres of land.
• The site has 98 management, 214 fulltime
workers and additional staff for part time jobs.
• The whole factory is run under a strict guideline
which is applicable for all GSK factories
throughout the world.
• GSK Chittagong is a tobacco free site.

8. PROJECT WORK
• The objective of our project was to do a feasibility
study of replacing the existing power generating
system consisting of PDB and Diesel generators
by Gas generators.
• For this project, we collected Engineering Raw
Data, Factory Peak & Installed Load, Existing
Generator Specs, PDB Bill and KGDCL Bill.
• From the above mentioned data, we came to
