    • The Bus… David Mahoney, Marketing, New Business Development EngineerThe Mettler-Toledo CI Vision, Hi-Speed and Safelinemobile training platform is a customized bus with avariety of product inspection equipment onboard. Ittravels throughout the U.S. visiting food andpharmaceutical plants.Staffed by a technical trainer, the bus features a CIVision Inspection system, two Hi-Speed Checkweighers,five different Safeline metal detectors and two SafelineX-Ray machines.In addition to a comprehensive training program, themobile training platform offers interactive machine andproduct testing demonstrations. 8
    • Employee Referral ProgramYou refer an applicant for a regular position (direct hire), they are hired AND theysuccessfully complete their Introductory Period (i.e., 90 Days for Non-Exempt & 6 monthsfor Exempts). Referring an applicant is simple. Prior to submitting a friend’s resume oremployment application, return a completed “Help Yourself, Help A Friend” form to theHR Department. The form is available in the HR Department.The Payoff:As a “thank-you” from the Company for providing a successful referral as outlinedabove, you’ll receive a referral bonus. The bonus pay-out is based on the level ofposition that is filled by your applicant, as follows: Field Service Engineers: $500 All Exempt Positions: $500 Non-Exempt Positions: $300 9

    • Tuition Assistance  Will reimburse up to $5,250 of tuition and eligible fees in any calendar year for approved coursework leading to an Associates or Bachelors degree and $7,500 for approved coursework leading to a Masters or Doctoral degree. Reimbursement is allocated to the calendar year in which the course was scheduled to end.  Reimbursement will be made for one degree at each level (Associate, Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral). The maximum total reimbursement is $22,500 per employee. 11
    • Vacation and Personal Days Vacation accrual for new employees begins on the first day of employment. The program consists of three parts, Paid Personal Days, Short Term Disability “Bank” Days, and Short Term Disability Insurance. Personal Days – hourly personnel - 5 days (1 per quarter, 1 personal floating day) - Jury duty (after 90 days of employment), bereavement, court subpoena, military leave). Benefit begin the first day of the month following the date of hire 12

    • Payroll ServicesPaydates Paydates are semi-monthly (the 15th and the last day of the month). - If a payday is on a holiday or weekend, pay will be disbursed the prior business day.Direct Deposit Forms available through HR or intranet siteOnline Paystubs Using the ADP iPay site, you can access your earnings statements (paystubs) and W-2 forms 24 hours per day, 7 days a week online Elect to receive your paystubs online, a paperless option. The iPay site also includes several financial tools, including the W-4 Assistant and Paycheck calculators. After receiving your first paycheck you can register at: 14
    • ERSP 401(k)Your retirement savings plan You can elect to contribute 1%- 50% of your eligible earnings, up to the IRS limit of $17,000 (2012 limit) Your contribution is deducted before tax (pretax basis), saving you money MT will also contribute to your 401(k) retirement account, matching 100% of your first 3% contribution and 50% of your next 3% contribution  If you contribute 6%, you will receive the max of 4.5% from the Company – that’s free money!  Company contributions are immediately fully vested  Any additional contribution is at the discretion of the Company and subject to eligibility rules. If you reach age 50 by the end of the year and contribute the maximum of $17,000, you can contribute an extra $5,500 to the plan that year.     • Disability InsuranceShort Term Disability* Insurance program paid for by the Company Provides income replacement at 60% of your salary, up to $1,000/wk - Claim is file if you are unable to work due to non work related injury or personal sickness - Benefits begin on the 6th consecutive work day missed (5 working day waiting period) Benefits continue up to 6 months (26 weeks) Any unused personal days at the end of each year are transferred to Bank Days.     • Life InsuranceVoluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment (VAD&D) A life insurance policy in force for only accidental death or dismemberment. Rates are based on coverage level and there is no requirement for medical statement of health. You have two options for coverage levels: - Employee Only (Increments of $10,000 up to 10 times your salary or $500,000 maximum) - Family Protection Plus, which includes you and your eligible dependent(s) The amount of insurance applicable to family members is expressed as a percentage of the amount you select for yourself. 50% of the employee amount for a SPOUSE ONLY 15% of the employee amount for a CHILD ONLY (each child) 40% of the employee amount for a SPOUSE and 10% of the employee amount for a child (each child) You may elect the VAD&D coverage with or without purchasing optional life/AD&D insurance. * Eligible 1st day following month of hire 20

    • Emergency Travel AssistanceHelp away from home Provided by the Company through UNUM and Assist America This benefit is not a replacement for insurance, but rather a concierge type program when you or a family member is travel more than 100 miles from home. Some example services you may receive - Emergency medical evacuation - Medically supervised repatriation - Medical referrals, including consultation and evaluation - Foreign hospital admission guarantee - Prescription replacement assistance - Return of mortal remains - Legal, interpreter, and emergency trauma counseling referrals 22
