      If you do not recognize change and move forward you will be left behind!
      Unemployment rates are up
      People are not spending their money in the same ways that they use to
      Businesses need to get creative
      If you resist- you will be left behind!
    4. Traditional Marketing is not dead!
    5. Social Media is another marketing tool to add to your existing strategy.

    7. So what do I do now?
      Set-up credible groups on Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and other Social Networking sites.
      Decide what social media platform will work best for you.
      Have a strong brand Identity online and offline
      Build your network
    8. Marketing online is different that marketing offline.
    9. More and more businesses are learning that they need to listen to the customer instead of Telling the customer what the need to buy.
      Customers are more informed than they used to be!
      There is conversation going on about brands, products, and services on a because of the internet and social media
    10. Online marketing is:
      About building relationships
      Having conversations with consumers
      Listening to what is being said
      Showing a different side of your brand
      Learning more about your target audience
      Paying attention to what your competition is doing
      Building your Network
    11. Offline Marketing is:
      Creating brand awareness through advertising to consumers
      Targeting a specific group, type of consumer or demographic. i.e. billboards
      Using visual content to deliver you message
      Communication to the consumer
      Delivering a specific message that you want the consumer to receive

      There are benefits to both online and offline marketing…

      More online conversations about your brand
      A successful Social Media Marketing campaign leads more talk about your brand online.
      Be more informed on what your consumers want
      Low Cost Marketing
      Results are measurable. I.e. Facebook pages- #of fans

      Visually engages your target
      It’s tangible
      Local advertising to drive potential customers to your location or service
      Radio ads are still a proven way to increase awareness of your company
      Provides information that consumers can take away and review on their own time schedule
      Creates brand awareness

    16. Combining Methods can:
      Increase overall brand awareness
      Different tools to use for marketing products or services
      Reach both local and global targets
      Expand your network
      Make connections that can increase your business
      Online efforts are limited to people who are online
      Reach several types of audiences
    17. Conclusion:
      There are different benefits to each type of marketing.
      Using them together gives you a higher level of brand awareness and increases your bottom line.
